AFC was established in 1970 by Charles & Florence Littell as a mission work specific to the Island of Mindanao - the 2nd largest island in the Philippines with a population of 18 million. The Littell's have retired & live in North Carolina but still play a vital role in the mission by serving as president of the board of Directors.
Roger & Dixie Shewmaker joined AFC in 1997 & recently the leadership of the mission has been given to the Christian Filipino's with a stateside interim director.
Bill Loft Mission - Spain
Work in Mucia, Spain began by Gill and Ginny Loft in 1985. Bill died leaving Ginny with the work. In 1997 Eric and Sira Gutierrez came from Nicaugra & began working with Ginny. Ginny is presently living in Pennsylvania with the after effects of a stroke.
Eric and Sira carry on the work - with prayer walks through cities where they want to start churches, ministry to the Muslim community and multi-ethnic groups.

GBM's mission is to communicate God's message to the world by radio. This international ministry started in 1952 in Garrett, IN by Walter and Mainie Coble, members of the First church of Christ. As a result of their efforts, the Gospel is heard daily around the world in 15 languages.

It began in 1964 with the purpose of helping Christian Indiana young
people with a strong desire to serve in ministry & attend Bible College.
A plan was developed through the dream of Bill Duncan for Christians
to invest in the Christian education of young people. The name
"Alexander" represents "helper." Scholarships are funded totally
by individuals and churches.
Several young people have received ACF scholarships over the years -
some of the more recent ones: Nathan Kline, Cincinnati Christian
University, Chloe Glenn, CCU, Andrew Grimes, CCU, Alex Stebing,
CCU, Justin Lilley, Great Lakes Chr. College, Johnathon Gottfried,
Johnson Bible College.

the campus minister has been given the title of "Campus Chaplain" as
the University leaders have recognized the importance of a spiritual
mentor of the students at Trine.

Pioneer Bible Translators - Marty & Tina Ganong Guinea, West Africa
In the mid- 1970's Al Hamilton with a passion and vision was inspired by God to mobilize more of God's people for the task of translating Scripture into every language. The missionaries who would be sent out would use Bible Translation and literacy as strategies for church planting and church growth. From this vision, PBT was born in 1976.
Marty and Tina (Weller - native of Garrett, IN) answered the call of PBT and committed to reach the Bag people in Guinea, W. Africa with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They have living, working and ministering among the Baga people since 1995.

This ministry began in 2008 led by Larry and Diane Owen. Larry grew up in Garrett, IN - graduated from Garrett High School and attended the First Church of Christ in Garrett.
This is a mission that ministers to "street boys" and "prostitutes" showering them with waves of God's mercy - leading them to the Light.

IDES offers help and hope to a hurting world. IDES goal is to help proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the world by partnering with other Christians to minister to the needs of suffering people. IDES monitors the news for disasters, and then receives specific requests from missionaries or churches. The Board reviews each need then prioritizes amounts and uses of funds entrusted to them by individuals and churches.
Rick Jett is presently the Director. His wife, Nancy is very involved in the mission as her father was the founder of IDES.

Josh and Chloe (Savage - native of DeKalb Co & member of Garrett Church of Christ) attended Cincinnati Christian University - graduating from there in 2005. They became involved with State Avenue Church of Christ - an inner city church in Lower Price Hill of Cincinnati. They, along with another couple, have established Hope Inner City. Its mission is to bring the hope of Jesus to the inner cities of the United States through church planting and Christ-centered relationships. Their goal is to strengthen existing inner city churches as well as recruit and train Christians to plant new inner city churches.

New Churches of Christ Evangelism
The ministry of NCCE began in 1951 by Virgil and Marjorie Felton with the goal to plant new churches in Michigan, Northern Indiana and Northern Ohio. In 1982, Ron Scott took the directorship. In 2004, Randy Penwell took the position. Just recently, Steve Larson became the new director.
Lake Area Christian Church in Fremont, IN is a new church plant resulting from the work of New Churches of Christ Evangelism.
